Memories from SXSWi 2012
Sam, Kirk and I were down in Texas last week for the annual nonsense that is SXSW. Our friend and frequent collaborator, photographer Mindy Best, was also in Austin and able to steal some time for us.
From talks on typeface display on the web, to the European Tech Art Scene, Participatory Government, and designing for “Simplicity” or complexity (Computation and Its Impact on the Future), we divided and conquered.
Well, mostly divided and regrouped.
The amount of talent, ideas, and inspiration in attendance is staggering. When every time slot is filled with an abundance of relevant, cutting-edge topics, and one’s twitter feed is replete, after the fact, with even more that was not covered, all we can agree is that we’ll be back next year!
