Aaron Carambula

A founding partner of the firm, Aaron hails from Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. At Objective Subject, he has led projects for a range of clients including Avaya, Viacom, and Weil.While at Landor Associates’ Manhattan offices, Aaron worked on key accounts such as the NFL / SuperBowl XL, Lenovo / Thinkpad, People Magazine, and Verizon.

As Senior Designer at FutureBrand, he was the lead creative on Chevrolet’s global branding initiative, that was rolled out in over 50 countries and included a new logotype, a brand new custom-designed typeface, and inclusive standards guidelines for all of Chevrolet’s foreign and emerging markets. Aaron has a keen interest in all matters typography. He is on the Board of the New York Chapter of the AIGA, a member of the Type Director’s Club, and a founder of the website, Friends of Type. His typographic work has been commissioned by the New York Times, Fader, and Metropolis. Maude, his adorable 4-year old Boston Terrier, also commands his attention.
